FLEXIBLE CHOKE & KILL HOSE

Application:

API 16C choke & kill manifold is an important component part of choke and kill system and a kind of blowout preventing equipment needed for surface and underwater drilling control.

1. When normal circulation through drill string can't be adopted druing drilling, the API 16C choke & kill manifold will be used to pump fluid into borehole.

2. When a blowout occurs during drilling due to the formation fluid circulated out flowing into the borehole, the API 16C choke & kill manifold will be used to exert back pressure on formations.

3. The API 16C choke & kill manifold is also used for delivery of acidic media.

THis rubber hose has passed the Performance Qualification Test specified in clause 9.14.12 of API 16C Standard.

The inner liner is made of stainless steel spiral casing; the sealing layer is made of anti-H2S special chemical synthesis material; the inner liner and external protection layer is made of nylon canvas; the framework is made of high strenth steel rope; the fire protection layer is set outside of hose with armored stainless steel helical casing for protection.

Adaptor material: It meets the requirements of Standard NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156.
